It doesn't matter how much training and physical preparation you do for your event. When the day of your event arrives everyone will be going through the same thoughts and physiological states.
Regardless of your physical ability. Adrenalin, support of friend, family, fellow runners and the crowds who line the streets will get you through.
So do the training, prepare yourself mentally and take time to enjoy what will be a great day.
